Mechanic special Mechanical special. Transporter partially sank boat in Charleston Bay. Great boat until we used the wrong transporter. The story goes like this: Transporter took wrong trailer. Drove boat from marina to boat ramp and loaded boat on wrong trailer. Relaunched boat and tied it up to dry stack courtesy dock. Returned with correct trailer to find the boat had drifted out with the tide because someone untied it supposedly. The boat at high tide ran aground in the shallows. Tide went out boat keeled over to starboard side. The tied came in the and the boat did not float because transom door had fallen open and cabin flooded as tide came in. Transporter damaged bow pulpit and lost the engine cover in the process of recovering boat. The transporter claims to have the engine cover but adding insult to injury we have had no engine cover returned in five months. Transporter claims to have pickled engines. The twin 5.7 engines appear to be locked up although filled with diesel but would be good cores to rebuild. Transportation available. Not the same guy as before of course. We can offer re-manufactured engines at a cost of only $1495 each if you purchase the boat.
