Mechanic special Latest Pictures Mechanic special. These are the latest pictures taken on 6.13.12. Beautiful large express cruiser with full head, v birth, mid cabin and galley. Powered by a pair of 5.7 Volvo Penta Duo Props. The transom plates need to be changed. The Onan 5 k Generator has closed cooling and is ready for demonstration. Marine air included and ready for demonstration. The boat was serviced in the fall and launched. After it was operated for a few days the transom plates began to leak. The transom plates need to be replaced from sea water corrosion. Low hours on the Chevy 5.7 motors which are ready for demonstration with volvo dp290 outdrives that also are ready to demonstrate. The props are not great but function. The boat can be launched and operated but it does take on water and the auto bilge pump is new but it could get to be a bigger and bigger problem and truly needs transom plates installed. We have located one transom plate and it is available to be removed from a donor boat for an additional amount of $500. Once we locate the second transom plate we will install them and change the price upward. The boat will need to be re commissioned for this Summer season to insure dependability. Full camper canvas enclosure. The boat took on water from rain while out and on the trailer before we received it and it took on water from the transom plate problem in the Fall. It has had fresh water intrusion twice that we are aware of. The boat has never sank that we are aware of other than to say it partially sank on the trailer from rain water or to say that it partially sank from the batteries dying from a constantly running bilge pump because of corrosion on the transom plates. The marina noticed that it was listing I was told and they removed it from the water before it took on too much water. The cabin had about 18 inches of standing water being bow down on the trailer in storage from rain water not bailing off correctly being bow down before we received it. The engine compartment had about 12 to 18 inches of water from the transom shields leaking while in a slip last Fall. The boat is being cleaned completely on 6.12.13 with the pictures being reposted after Spring clean up. We will order and sell new trailers at dealer cost with boat purchases. This boat has a strong nada value and is a sought after model. Layaway available on most boats including this boat. The initial pics with palm trees in the background and lots of extra stuff laying in the boat were taken in Florida the day we picked it up.
